Johnston Peanut Butter Mill

The Johnston Peanut Butter Mill in Brundidge, eastern Pike County, opened in 1929 and annually produced more than two million jars of peanut during the Great Depression. The mill has been converted to a museum with Depression-era exhibits, and is the site of an annual Peanut Butter Festival each October.
