Visitors to the West Point Manufacturing Company's Fairfax mill look on as an employee hems towels in this photo from the 1960s. The Fairfax textile mill and its accompanying village were constructed in 1915, and the mill village was one of four that were consolidated into the present-day city of Valley, Chambers County, in 1980.
